Floating a Little

And to everyone who responded to yesterday’s blog post with such generosity, kindness and compassion.  It is still pretty bleak in my world, but at least I took a shower.  And I feel something today other than done.  Thank you for that.

Mary Oliver — Still, what I want in my life is to be willing to be dazzled–To cast aside the weight of facts–And maybe even to float a little above this difficult world.

I have never watched Nathan Fillion as Malcolm Reynolds character. However I love him in Castle.

Honestly, showers cannot be appreciated enough….. We had the finest and most liked Italian Shower in our house in France. I think the one sentence I said most often in the years we lived there, was: This was our best investment we EVER made. I thought long and hard about how to go about it, it was an expensive and labour-intensive job, we had the greatest couple of guys who worked hard and diligently and we will never ever have another shower anywhere w/o thinking of what a treasure that thing was. You take a shower and emerge as new, revitalised, clean and invigorated, ready for another day of —— whatever it will throw at you ——
I’m SO glad you took that corner, now another bright window might be opening up to you…. not far, maybe around the next corner of your life. Hang on there, be brave, take courage, take our thoughts and love, you’re gonna make it!
