Waiting to see if flood waters will take out the water treatment plant, all my old plastic file boxes, garbage cans and pots sit filled. Waiting for another tornado warning to blare from my phone, Emmett stays in hiding most of the day. Waiting for my new Medicare D coverage to start in July, my rationed medication can’t take the edge off the agitation or depression.
So, today I’ll choose suspense I can enjoy.

oh dear – I didn’t know about this. Hope you won’t lose your precious stuff. Thinking of you – and I think I’d need some medication too in that situation (and I’m not ill….) God bless you.

It doesn’t look like the flood waters will come to my door, just disrupt services—unless the rains keep coming.

Wishing you good luck, in any case. Not that it will help you, but let’s keep those fingers crossed!

Thanks, Kiki. So far, so dry.

Peace and quiet to you, Sandy Sue! Chris Evans’s face usually brings me some calm, too.

When I got home, I pulled out my old Enya CDs and let my hands think on Christmas postcards.

The weather cycle you all have been dealing with is unreal, Sandy! Keeping a good thought for you and hoping that all of this passes SOON!

Thanks, Lori. At least the tornados have been elsewhere.

just thinking about you being a star trek fan and wondering if you saw the new Discovery Star Trek series and if so what do you think ? and have you heard they are starting a new Star Trek: Picard?? Did the water take out the pumps?
May 30, 2019 @ 21:10:08
Hey, Robert. I’m quite sore about that CBS Access business. Pay to watch Star Trek? Roddenberrry is rolling in his grave. So, no, I haven’t seen Discovery and am sick about the new Picard series being unavailable to me. *sniff*. Water pumps are still working, but the forecast is for rain all next week. We’ll see…
