This is so on point to something I listened to while avoiding life. If you’ve not run across the presentation by Dan Gilbert, it’s on YouTube, and it’s called the Science of Happiness. It was an eye-opening take on the studies done around what actually makes people happy. It actually helped me to understand the problems I’ve had with being a parent. I won’t spoil it for you. But finding out the way I feel is actually normal, usual even, was a comfort. It’s helped me to relax a bit about the concerns that something was wrong with me.
