I’m surprised you had the energy to scrapbook your sickness into art, but it certainly is much more productive than anything I’ve ever managed while infirm. Feel better soon and I hope the cats are keeping a close eye on you!

Art journaling isn’t quite scrapbooking. It’s a common misconception because people see a book, adhesive and writing. There are as many different types of art journaling as the people who make them—some more fine art, some more collage. I like to make my journals by hand out of 140# hot press watercolor paper. I love the smooth texture of the pages, and they take paint, inks and pen equally well. Here’s a link for more examples.

If I follow the usual course, it will be another couple of weeks before I feel human again. The cats don’t seem to mind, though.
