Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good, and just, and beautiful. — Plato

Just obeying the Law and creating a modicum of order today with these two.

When all else fails, there’s always Sting.

It’s weird because I have absolutely no interest in music anymore. If I’m in the car I’ll turn on the radio, but I’m just as happy listening to talk radio. I used to love music. My ipod (it’s quite old because I haven’t cared to update even the software on my computer in years) holds a very eclectic selection of wonderful songs, but I can’t be bothered. I have however ,started watching the movie “Pitch Perfect” and “Pitch Perfect II”. They are filling this weird space in me with easy to watch and music that I can deal with. I wish I could get back to my tunes, but I’m just going to take what I can get for now, I guess.

I believe in that. It’s always so weird when stuff we used to love turns meaningless. Other stuff will come out of left field to fill that void.

I hope so. Right now I do mourn my tunes.
