I’m a little gun-shy about posting my Valentines this morning. Yesterday, someone at Etsy raged at me over a card she interpreted as vile and threatened to report me if I didn’t get rid of it immediately. I tried to explain I had no idea what she was talking about, but she had her whole family sending scathing personal attacks by email. I figured it wasn’t worth the fight. Cowardly, I know, but stuff like that clings to me for days when I’m feeling vulnerable. So, I’ll just admire that little card in private.

Sandy, I love you wickedly clever creations. I am always surprised how upset people get over the silliest things. If I don’t care for someone’s work I just move on. It’s an Etsy shop for Pete’s sake. I think some people like to keep their panties in a twist and they look for opportunity to engage others in their drama.

Wow – I can’t imagine any of your work generating such ire. You’ve seen my posts on bad internet behavior. Apparently Etsy will not be left unscathed. Sorry you had to experience that – make sure you remind yourself that sometimes people’s bizarre reactions are all about them.
