A New Short, Short

Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Watson, Sherlock Holmes, BBC SherlockIn case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been sick.  And when I get sick, I get whiney and start looking for comfort.  Sometimes I have to comfort myself by writing stories about deserving people who comfort each other.  Hey, it works for me.

I started a whole slew of bits about Dr. John Watson (of the BBC Sherlock variety) and Mary Morstan (who Watson marries in the Conan Doyle stories).  I know Martin Freeman’s real-life partner, Amanda Abbingdon, will play Mary in season three of Sherlock.  I know it won’t even slightly resemble these snatches of story, but I’m not worried about canon here.  I’m only soothing my sick self and sighing.

So sorry you’re sick, Sandy – comfort yourself away. Hope you feel better soon!

” stories about deserving people who comfort each other.” What a great idea ! Celebrate compassion. Celebrate caring. Bring it all to life and if it makes you feel better – that’s an added bonus. Do what works for you.
