The thing about Istanbul is that it’s exotic and familiar at the same time. Lots of European influence as well as Islamic. I loved it.

This made me cry!
Just the other day my sister alerted me to a BBC documentary featuring Istanbul and the great Hagia Sophia Mosque…and an interview with Chief Guide there Atilla Tuna, whom sister recognised from our epic Voyages Jules Verne Istanbul weekend…’twas and is a wonderful city & wonderful people x
