I’m a little late with my wishes, O Moms of the Blogosphere, but heartfelt all the same. Hope your day was filled with bowing and scraping from your offspring.

All those little scrunched peanuts—it terrified me!

Helluva card you made there, Sandy. I want to buy it!!

Thanks Vivien. That’s an old one and long gone. I don’t even think I have the photo anymore.

My dogs didn’t give me much attention yesterday, and Daisy deer never showed up. So much for the life of an “animal” mother. How did your hairy beasts treat you?

Just another day of sleeping and complaining. Isn’t that what all kids do?

Our boys didn’t bow and scrape exactly. We all went out to lunch the day before (to beat the crowds) and Sunday, they kindly left – one to a neighbor’s and one to his dad’s – and let somebody else provide for their every need while their mom and I took the day off. It was lovely.

Wow. I’m not a mom, but that sounds like the best present ever.

Love the card, Sandy!
Sorry to be so out of the loop recently. But, Sara and I have arrived safely in Ecuador, and I’m trying to get back into the routine of blogging. Hope you’re doing well.
Hugs,
Kathy

So good to hear from you, Kathy, and that you’re planted safe and sound. I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering how the move went. Can’t wait to see pictures.
