How is a new Archetype created?
It’s a question I wanted to explore with my Star Trek: Enterprise crew. And since compulsion remains a powerful element in my life, I wanted to take that for a spin, as well.
Oh, yea, and lots of sex.
This story starts right after the episode “Terra Prime,” which is the next-to-the-last episode of the series. At that point in time, a radical xenophobic sect tried to evict all non-humans from Earth while Captain Archer helped to launch what would become The United Federation of Planets.
In a weird bit of screenwriting, the sect filched DNA from Trip Tucker and T’Pol to create a test-tube half Human-half Vulcan baby. Gratuitous emotional angst without any plot punch (in my humble opinion), but the baby gave Trip and T’Pol something more to share and be uncomfortable about with each other.
This story is on hold while I tackle other projects, but I will get back to it. I just thought I’d entice you with the first chapter.
