Dear Sandy, the quotation on the photograph is so familiar. Did Emily Dickinson say that? There’s a second line that is niggling at my mind, but I can’t quite grab hold of it. Something like “And all we …..” Do you know? Peace.

  I clipped the caption from an old magazine and it didn’t refer to another source. You might be thinking of Emily Dickinson’s “Parting.”
  MY LIFE closed twice before its close;
  It yet remains to see
  If Immortality unveil
  A third event to me
  So huge, so hopeless to conceive,
  As these that twice befell.
  Parting is all we know of heaven,
